Breaking News: Tragedy has struck in Linden leaving three dead and two others critical.
Trenton Gardner, Kester Grant and Michael Williams, three employees of the Chinese-owned bauxite, BOSAI Mining Company, were just after noon today killed while Marlon Pollydore and Fabian Anthony are critical after their vehicle was slammed and crushed by a huge Caterpillar truck.

They were in a pickup traveling on the Haul Road in the vicinity of Coomacka. Reports are that the lifeless bodies were pulled from the truck while the others were rushed to the Mackenzie Hospital as work at the Bosai Company grounded to a halt.

One of the dead was a company foreman and one was a contractor while the other was an apprentice mechanic.

It is not yet clear who was driving the ‘killer truck’ or what has happened to the driver if it was being manned but reports are that the heavy duty vehicle is normally used to transport Bauxite and mining material. (Photo ripped from Demerara waves without permission)
