KENYA IS BOTTOM 136 IN POSITIVE PEACE INDEX

According to the latest Positive Peace Index (PPI) rankings, the best governed country in Africa is Botswana at 41 out of 163 countries, second Namibia (51) – yet 23 years post Independence, third South Africa (53), fourth Ghana (55) and fifth Tunisia (58). The countries were measured against eight core governance categories. The categories include (I) a well-functioning government, (ii) good relations with neighbors  (iii)free flow of information, (iv) respect for human rights and democracy (v) low level of corruption. With 27 years of vision, in which position is Kenya? To get Kenya's position 50 years after independence , one has to scroll from the bottom 136 out of 163!!!!
